How Often Should an Office Be Deep Cleaned?
Nightly janitorial keeps an office presentable. Deep cleaning is what keeps it healthy. The right interval depends on headcount, foot traffic and what your floors are made of.

A frequency baseline
Use this as a starting point, then adjust for your space.
- Under 20 employees, low client traffic: deep clean twice a year
- 20–75 employees: quarterly deep clean
- High client traffic, medical or food service on site: every 6–8 weeks
- Carpeted open-plan floors: extraction every 6–12 months
Signs you are overdue
Persistent odor in carpet, dull traffic lanes, grimy chair bases, dusty vents and restroom grout that no longer responds to daily cleaning all point to the same thing: daily service is maintaining soil rather than removing it.
What a commercial deep clean covers
Beyond the nightly scope, a deep clean addresses high dusting, vents, partition glass, upholstery, appliance interiors, restroom descaling and hard-floor restoration.
Scheduling around your team
Most deep cleans run after hours or across a weekend so nothing interrupts business. For larger floors we phase the work by zone so no area is out of use for more than one night.
