How Often Should an Office Be Deep Cleaned?

Use this as a starting point, then adjust for your space.

• Under 20 employees, low client traffic: deep clean twice a year
• 20–75 employees: quarterly deep clean
• High client traffic, medical or food service on site: every 6–8 weeks
• Carpeted open-plan floors: extraction every 6–12 months

Persistent odor in carpet, dull traffic lanes, grimy chair bases, dusty vents and restroom grout that no longer responds to daily cleaning all point to the same thing: daily service is maintaining soil rather than removing it.

Most deep cleans run after hours or across a weekend so nothing interrupts business. For larger floors we phase the work by zone so no area is out of use for more than one night.
