What Post-Construction Cleaning Actually Includes

Phase one: rough clean

Rough clean happens once framing, drywall and major installs are finished. The goal is debris removal so trades can keep working safely: leftover material, packaging, nails, stickers and bulk dust.

Phase two: final clean

Final clean is the detail pass. Drywall dust is microscopic and electrostatic — it resettles for days if it is only wiped. Our crews HEPA-vacuum ceilings, walls, vents and cavities first, then damp-wipe from the top of the room down, then finish floors last.

• Paint overspray, adhesive and label removal from glass and fixtures
• Grout haze removal from tile
• Cabinet, drawer and closet interiors
• Light fixtures, ceiling fans, vents and returns

Phase three: touch-up

After the last trade leaves and before the client walkthrough, a touch-up pass clears new fingerprints, footprints and settled dust. On most projects this is the difference between a smooth handover and a punch list.

Why it is priced differently

Post-construction work uses HEPA filtration, respirators, ladders and consumables that a residential clean never touches, and it takes several times longer per square foot. Pricing usually reflects square footage, phase and site condition rather than a flat rate.
